If you have any problems measuring your window, our assistants are on hand to talk you through it. Call now on 01494 535699.

Tips for Measuring your Window

  • Measure at the height you’re fitting. Don’t measure down by the skirting board and then fit the track up high on the wall as the dimensions might be different.
  • If you’re fitting the pole to the ceiling, it’s still good to measure at the fitting height and up against the wall or frame. You can then let us know how far forward the track or pole will be fitted. Alternatively, measure the exact position the track will go on the ceiling and tick the box marked “the size I want my track/pole made to”.
  • Always use a metal tape measure as this is the most accurate tool. Cloth tapes and rules can stretch.
  • To measure the angles, print and use our protractor. Alternatively, we can send you a plastic version which is already assembled. Contact us if you’d like one. If you’re not sure how to use the protractor view our video.
  • Please make sure you enter all the dimensions and answer all the questions when ordering. This means we can assemble the product correctly and without delay.
  • We request angles and cross dimensions, although we only need one of these to actually make the product. However, to check your dimensions and guarantee 100% that the track or pole will fit, we need all the dimensions and angles. Feel free to visit our blog for videos and further information on how we bend our tracks and poles.
