Silent Gliss 6150 - 50mm Electric Curtain Pole - Radio Remote Operation

The Silent Gliss 6150 Electric Pole with Radio Remote Control is a combination of the 5100 Autoglide RR system and the 50mm Metropole. The 6150 looks like a Metropole and is available in all seven of the colours but has an Autoglide fitted inside the pole which can be operated by either a switch or a radio remote control. Radio remote control handsets are much more reliable than Infra-red and can be operated from a greater distance without the need for accuracy. The design and look is the same as the 50mm Metropole and is available in seven different colours. The 6150 system has a manual override so that in the event of a power failure the curtains can be drawn by hand. In addition to the system operation the 6150 electric curtain pole also has a “touch and go” feature which will take over the operation of the curtain if it is ever puller by hand. The system comes complete with the transformer and plug required to fit the system into any standard electrical socket.

Product Description

The 6150 Electric Curtain Pole is a 50mm Metropolitan pole with a 5100 Autoglide track fitted inside. This means that it operates the same as the 5100 Radio Remote Autoglide and looks like the 50mm Metropole including being available in all seven colours. The Radio Remote system works by either using the switch or the remote control provided. This product is ideal for top fixing or face fixing and comes standard with either a flush fitting top fix bracket or the adjustable 0334 Maxi face fix bracket. Unfortunately this product is not suitable for bay windows. The 6150 Silent Gliss Electric Metropole is a belt driven pole, this means that it is has a rubber belt with teeth inside the track that is directly powered by a motor that then drives the track and makes the curtain open and close. This is the best way for an electric system to work as having a separate motor detached from the track that drives the cords of the track results in the motor slipping and the cord snapping. We can also make the same system but using more advanced and stronger curtain tracks. These take the Silent Gliss 5600 systems and integrate them into the 50mm Metropole. These systems can be used with integrated radio or home entertainment systems and can carry up to 65kg of weight. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if you are interested in an integration or heavier duty system.
