Fitting Finials

Finials are decorative ends that can enhance the design of your curtain poles. If you’ve chosen a simple pole, finials give you more options and help link it with the style of your home.

Picking a simple end cap will make the pole minimal and clean, whereas a geometric finial will add more visual interest. A ball or spear will give the pole a traditional feel, while a glass version will make it more contemporary.

We offer finials to fit most of the tracks and poles we sell. Select the range you’re interested in on the left.

Modern Midials

Midials are accents that can be fitted anywhere along a curtain track or pole. Don’t let the name fool you – they don’t have to go in the middle. Often they’re placed near the ends, spaced evenly along the length or at the corners of a bay window.

Midials only really work with curtain tracks and poles with gliders, as they can be attached without getting in the way of the curtains. For this reason, they’re a quite recent invention and tend to be modern in design.

If you’re fitting a pole in a recessed window where you don’t have space for finials, midials are often a nice touch.
