The 7650 Electrically Operated Curtain Pole System with Timer combines the elegance and beauty of the 50mm Metropole with the intelligence and convenience of the 5100 Autoglide timer. The pole looks like the 6140 Metropole but inside we fit a 5100 with timer. It makes a great addition to home security as the track self-operation can give the illusion that the house is occupied even when it is empty. The design and look is the same as the 50mm Metropole and is available in seven different colours. The 7650 system has a manual override so that in the event of a power failure the curtains can be drawn by hand. In addition to the system operation the 7650 electric curtain pole also has a “touch and go” feature which will take over the operation of the curtain if it is ever pulled by hand. The system comes complete with the transformer and plug required to fit the system into any standard electrical socket.

The 7650 range replaces the Silent Gliss 6150 range.

The Silent Gliss 5100 Autoglide basic operation is an electric curtain track with a switch operation.  The switch is a remote switch meaning it is wireless and communicates with the electric track by radio signal rather than connecting with wires.  The Autoglide Electric Curtain Rail can carry up to 25kg of curtaining and can be bent for bay windows.

Although this is the basic version of the Autoglide Electric Curtain Track, there is nothing basic about it.  The motor has a built-in radio receiver.  The curtains have a “touch and go” operation which will automatically take over the opening and closing of the curtain when the curtains are pulled by hand.  In the event of a power failure, the curtains can be easily operated manually without the need for any alteration.

The Silent Gliss 5100 Autoglide electric curtain track is ideal for light to medium weight curtains.

The Silent Gliss 5100 Autoglide Handheld Remote operation is an electric curtain track which in addition to a switch has a handheld transmitter which can be used to open and close the curtains.  The transmitter sends a signal to the motor, which has an integrated receiver, telling it to open or close the curtains.  Radio control is superior to infra-red as the infra-red signal must be pointed in the direction of the receiver and the receiver must be on display. Radio signals can travel further than infra-red so the radio remote can operate the tracks from further away.  The Autoglide Electric Curtain Rail can carry up to 25kg of curtaining and can be bent for bay windows.

The 5100TC System is a complete control system from Silent Gliss. The 5100TC is a combination of the three other Autoglide Electric Curtain Tracks which means it can be controlled by switch, timer, or Radio remote control. The perfect combination of luxury, security and convenience. The Silent Gliss Autoglide Track does not need to be wired in by an electrician and comes complete with motor, transformer and a standard three pin plug that can be plugged into the mains socket. The Autoglide can be bent in our factory to suit bay windows and even bent to suit a bow bay or gradual curved window. The Autoglide is an excellent bespoke made to measure curtain track and can be made to any size up to 500cm.
