The Silent Gliss 7650 Basic Electric Pole is an electrically operated pole that comes complete with a switch to open and close the curtains. It works in the same way as the Basic system and comes with a standard three pin mains plug so there is not need for an electrician to wire the product into the mains. The motor fits directly into the pole and runs a belt around the pole; this makes the pole much more efficient as well as being more reliable than other forms of operation. The design and look is the same as the 50mm Metropole and is available in seven different colours. The 7650 system has a manual override so that in the event of a power failure the curtains can be drawn by hand. In addition to the system operation the 7650 electric curtain pole also has a “touch and go” feature which will take over the operation of the curtain if it is ever pulled by hand. The motor and transformer are hidden behind the curtains ensuring that the product is attractive, simple and effective. This is a made to measure product that is made to your bespoke size.

The Silent Gliss 7650 Electric Pole with Radio Remote Control is a combination of the 5100 Autoglide RR system and the 50mm Metropole. The 7650 looks like a Metropole and is available in all seven of the colours but has an Autoglide fitted inside the pole which can be operated by either a switch or a radio remote control. Radio remote control handsets are much more reliable than Infra-red and can be operated from a greater distance without the need for accuracy. The design and look is the same as the 50mm Metropole and is available in seven different colours. The pole looks like the 6140 Metropole but inside we fit a 5100 with timer. It makes a great addition to home security as the track self-operation can give the illusion that the house is occupied even when it is empty. The system does not need any special skills to install and is complete with a standard three pin plug and has its own transformer.
