Simple Wireless Wall-Switch Control

The 5100B is operated from a single-channel wireless wall switch. Rather than connecting the switch to the curtain track with control wiring, the switch communicates with the receiver incorporated within the motor by radio signal.

This creates a neat installation and gives you an easily accessible, fixed control point within the room. Simply use the wall switch whenever you want to open or close the curtains.

If you would prefer additional ways to operate your curtains, the wider Autoglide family also includes Remote Control, Timer and Total Control versions.

Touch & Go for Intuitive Everyday Operation

Motorised operation does not mean you always have to use the switch.

The SG 5100B incorporates Touch & Go operation. When the curtain fabric is gently pulled by hand, the system recognises the movement and takes over the opening or closing of the curtains automatically.

This is particularly useful in a busy home where someone may instinctively reach for the curtain rather than the wall switch.

Manual Operation During a Power Cut

Ceiling or Wall Fitting

The Autoglide can be ceiling fixed for a clean installation close to the ceiling or wall fixed using suitable wall brackets.

The system can be fitted using either 3" or 4" wall brackets, allowing the track to project further from the wall where additional clearance is required.

This can be particularly useful where curtains need to clear features such as window sills or handles.

Compatible with Wave Curtains

The Silent Gliss 5100 Autoglide is compatible with the Silent Gliss Wave curtain heading system.

Wave creates a continuous, even curtain formation rather than the more gathered appearance of a traditional heading, making it particularly effective where a clean and contemporary curtain style is wanted.

Plug-In Electric Operation

The original Autoglide is supplied with a 5m power cable and standard UK 3-pin plug, making installation considerably simpler than a system requiring dedicated hard wiring.

There is therefore normally no requirement for an electrician to pre-wire the control system. You will, however, need a suitable mains socket positioned within reach of the power cable.
