VIDEO | Corded Curtain Track Problems

We often get asked what potential issues can occur with corded curtain tracks. The long and short of it, corded curtain tracks are very efficient work very well and perfect for  areas that are tricky to get too. Watch our latest video to find out more.

 

 

There are two things that can cause issues:

 

Child Safety

Corded curtain tracks, they do what they say on the tin. The have a cord to the side of the track which you pull to open and close the curtains. This cord should always be secured to the wall and a minimum of 1.5m from the ground - this will ensure that a child will not be able to get entangled in the cord.

 

Hand pulling a corded track

Always remember to use the cord to open and close your curtains. If you try and pull the curtains open rather than using the pulley, then you can run the risk of the cord coming out of the back of the track.
